Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Lathe Machine Operator with at least 10 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of lathe operations, tooling, materials, and precision machining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up manual lathe machines independently.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Perform turning, facing, threading, boring, knurling, and taper operations.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
• Measure and inspect components using micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges, etc.
• Maintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirements.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a manual lathe operator.
• Complete knowledge of lathe machine parts, operations, and safety practices.
• Strong understanding of metals and machining processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and quality.
• Shop-floor discipline and safety awareness.
