At KSA Jobs Alert, accessible from our website and Google Play, the privacy of our users is one of our main priorities. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
a) Browsing without an account
You can browse job listings without creating an account or providing personal information.
b) Account information
If you choose to create an account (to post jobs), we collect:
- Your email address
- A username of your choice (it may be visible publicly alongside your job posts)
- A password that you create. Passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form.
c) Job posts
Any job post you submit, including the contact details you include (email, phone, or website), is published publicly on our app and website.
d) AI CV Writer
If you use our AI CV Writer, you provide information such as your email, phone number, address, date of birth, work experience, skills, and education so that a CV can be generated for you. See Section 3 for details on how this information is handled.
e) Automatically collected information
Like most apps and websites, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as device type, operating system, IP address, browser type, app interactions, and usage data. We use Firebase and Google Analytics for this purpose, which may use cookies and similar identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to collect this data.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To create and manage your account and let you log in on the app and website
- To publish and manage the job posts you submit
- To generate CVs through the AI CV Writer
- To moderate content, prevent scams and fraud, and enforce our Terms and Conditions
- To respond to support requests and reports
- To maintain, secure, and improve our services
We do not sell your personal information.
3. AI CV WRITER
Our AI CV Writer uses Google’s Gemini AI service to help write your CV.
- Information NOT sent to the AI: Your basic personal and contact details (such as email, phone number, address, and date of birth) are used only to fill in your CV template. They are not sent to the AI service.
- Information sent to the AI: Only your work experience history, skills, and education details are sent to Google’s Gemini to be processed and written into CV content.
- We use the Gemini API under Google’s free tier. Under Google’s terms for this tier, content submitted to the service may be used by Google to improve its products and models. For this reason, please do not include names, ID numbers, passport numbers, or other sensitive information in your work experience, skills, or education text.
- Your information is processed only to provide the CV Writer feature to you.
4. PUBLIC CONTENT
Job posts are public. Anyone can view the information you include in them, including contact details. Please do not include personal information you do not want to be public. You are responsible for the content you post, as described in our Terms and Conditions.
5. DELETING YOUR POSTS AND ACCOUNT
You can delete your job posts and your account at any time from within the app and the website My Profile > Delete Account. You can also request deletion by emailing admin@ksajobsalert.com. When you delete your account, we delete your email, username, password, and your job posts within 48 hours.
6. COOKIES, GOOGLE ADSENSE AND ADMOB
We use Google AdSense and Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies and advertising identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site, app, or other sites.

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our service uses third parties, including Google AdSense, Google AdMob, Firebase, Google Analytics, and Google Gemini. These third parties have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites.

8. DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption in transit and hashed passwords. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at admin@ksajobsalert.com. You can also delete your account yourself as described in Section 5.
10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
