Urgently Hiring: Medical Equipment Engineer (Riyadh) for Filipino Nationals.

Role:

responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment through installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration by utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track activities.

Key duties include performing planned preventive maintenance (PPM), responding to emergency repairs, conducting quality assurance rounds, managing inventory of parts, and documenting all service activities to maintain equipment functionality and safety in healthcare facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs incoming inspections, install, and commission new medical equipment and technology.
• Conducts planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance (repairs) on both new and existing equipment.
• Calibrates equipment to ensure accuracy and proper performance, especially for systems critical to health facility operations.
• Diagnoses and repairs malfunctions in medical equipment using specialized test equipment.
• Records all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in the equipment database or CMMS.
• Participates in quality assurance rounds to assess equipment safety and function, addressing user concerns.
• Responds to emergency calls for equipment repair outside of normal working hours, often through an on-call system.
• Orders and manages inventory of necessary parts for PPM and repairs to ensure adequate stock.
• Ensures all activities comply with relevant health and safety codes, standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicates with clinical users about the status of repairs and provide information on equipment issues.
• With minimum 3 years of experience in the same field (local or abroad) – specifically in the installation and maintenance of medical equipment
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related field
• Good business communication in both Arabic and in English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and computer-aided maintenance management systems (CMMS).
