Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities (excavation, concrete works, structural works, etc.)
• Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and workers on-site
• Monitor project progress and report updates to project managers
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with regulations
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality control
• Manage labor, equipment, and site resources efficiently
• Resolve on-site issues and delays quickly
• Maintain site records (daily reports, logs, inspections)

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in construction or civil works supervision.
• Familiarity with construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project is often prefared.
• Work Environment.
• Primarily on construction sites (outdoor work in varying conditions).
• May require long hours depending on project deadlines.
• Frequent interaction with workers, engineers, and project stakeholders.
